Mercado Central

Choco bananos are frozen bananas covered in chocolare dip. Gio enjoyed many on our trip. They were available right down the street from where we stayed for one quetzal or eight cents each.
The central market has a lot of handicrafts. Guatemala is known for their brightly colored textiles. On a lower level there is also a food market. We checked it out on our first visit to Guatemala. I found it to be beautiful.

The central market is located in Zona 1. Along with other goverment buildings. It reminds me of downtown Rochester, A lot of beautiful buildings but not all together beautiful.
When we reached the parking lot we were surrounded by the sound of Amazing Grace being sweetly played. Here is the man responsible for the beautiful music.
