Tamales

Let's make tamales.
Ripping the leaves into just-the-right-size pieces.
Gladys put the stems from the leaves in the bottom of teh pan and layered the tamales on top. She put some water in the bottom to steam them and the stems prevented the tamales on the bottom from sitting in the water. Cool.

She showed me how to fold the leaf around the filling.
Yum. Gladys is an excellent cook.
