Springdale Farm

The man we spoke with said the farm has about 65 cows. For 6 months they live here and for six months they live outside.
An automatic milking machine.
The bee from 92wbee, the local country radio station, came in the building and played with the boys. Gio had fun giving her pretend food.
Mom & I both agreed, Gio could have easily played here all day.

Scooped up midrun.
My three boys playing in the children's garden.
Sunflowers
They bordered the children's garden.

Farmer Joe's Loft

In the loft there were a lot of things on the walls for older children, an area for toddlers, face painting, and 5 kittens available for adoption. Here's Breetz checking one out.
Aaauuww there is just something about kids and baby animals.
Vacuuming in the toddler area.
Mowing
I was so proud when Gio picked up this number three and said something like "This is a three. I am this today." He is growing up so fast. I am so glad that I can be with him all day everyday.

Petting Zoo

3 kids just standin' around.
One happy lil' farmer.
"Hhm what's this?" (I just love that he has his hand on his hip.)
Hungry
"Are you 'hungy'?"

"Why hello there."

My Little Scruction Workers

Gio has been asking if he could drive tractors at Springdale Farm. I kept telling him we would have to see if they had any when we got there and low and behold they had more than just tractors. He was SOOO excited to play on these and proudly proclaimed that he was a "Scruction Werker".

Sky at Sunset

After Dinner

We all went to the Olympia recently for dinner. It's our favorite diner in Monroe county. Mary the owner is such a sweetie. There is one waitress who just loves the boys. She always comes over and says hello to them and remembers Gio by name.

The Boys

Turkey burgers & Green Beans

Another meal I like to prepare when the weather gets hot because I can searve the beans cold. They are so delecious. Green beans, garlic, and Brag's Liquid Aminos.

He's Talking!

Breetz has startred talking. He has been able to say no for awhile now. His second and third words were Mama and Nana. But now he says.... are you ready for this????? .....Bob Builder. He also says yum, wow. The other day at the playground his brother taught him the word move.

4 Rabbits

Lately when we go for a walk we see a lot of rabbits on one particular part of our road. We have seen about 6 at once. We can get surprisingly close. They freeze as soon as they see us and run when we get to a distance of about 8-10 feet.

Chalking

The boys chalked for the first time on their grandparent's driveway.
The box of chalk was located on the deck. They had so much fun running back and forth from the driveway to the deck to switch pieces of chalk.

Pasta Salad

I usually make this when I know it's going to be in the 90's. Then I don't have to cook for a couple days. I have been trying to increase my veggie intake so this time when I made it I added zucchini. It was a good. We've been using Barilla Plus Pasta. It tastes great. To find out more please click here.
