Recently I made playdough with the boys for the first time. The recipe is easy: 1 cup salt, 2 cups flour, 2 tablespoons oil, food coloring and or herbs if you so choose, and enough water to make it a doughlike consistency. I halved the recipe. Gio chose yellow like scoop and I added a few drops of garlic oil to help kill some of the germs as Breetz was just finishing up a cold. We used it for two days. Just cover with plastic to prevent it from drying out. I like tat it is not only nontoxic but natural and easy.
My two sons are the lights of my life. I love watching them grow and learn. It's fun documenting our lives together here to share with friends and family.

Hi Amie, Happy Easter! I have been waiting to make homemade play dough but I was to lazy to start making it. But after I saw your pictures, I thought I should make it with Amanda next week. Thanks for inspiring me! :)
Thanks. Happy Easter to you too. I get lazy when it comes to crafty things with the boys too. I'm glad I inspired you. Have fun!
